I just wanted to drop a quick line and say thank you  to everyone that's added or faved one of my deviations or added me to their devwatch recently (almost 1200 of you!). Even though I'm a terrible, lazy artist, and can't thank all of you personally, I'm sooo appreciative of every single one of you! You motivate me to be a better artist and give me inspiration... truly.

That said, I want to offer a photomanipulation or drawing (this will take a lot longer, just so ya know... ) of choice as a prize for the deviant that gets my 10,000th pageview! Just screencap the page and send it to me in a note or through my email.

Well, looks like I've had my first taste of being too deviant for DA. Apparently, someone reported one of my deviations, "Taboo," as being a violation of the 'sexualized minor' policy. Thanks for that.

Yes, I like erotic art, but even I'll only go so far...

I emailed the Help Desk to get a bit more info if possible... but I doubt I'll get it. Is simply stating in the author's comments that your character is of age enough to get the mods off your back? Or is the original work (in this case the HP books) the source of the character's age? I don't see how that could be, since Hermione ends up in her late 30s at the end of the series.

I've always clearly stated that my characters are of age, but I don't think it really matters. Has anyone else ever had any issues like this? If I'm in the wrong that's one thing, but I don't think I am.  

And if the person who reported this supposed 'violation' is reading this... well... you're a douchbag.

Well, in about six hours, I'll be sitting in the theater, preparing to weep my little heart out... from what I've seen so far, it looks to be a phenomenal ride, and I'm both excited and a bit anxious about it. I'm sure there will be a few nitpicky things that I won't like, but I'm looking to have a great experience. I just wanted to drop this out there before I go. I'm going to put up a review sometime this weekend, if I can find it in me. See you on the other side!

Round Three voting is going on now, so go post your vote and let everyone know who the real hero of HP was! Man, I sound like a really bad advertisement, don't I? Hehe... Snape is up against Dobby for this round, and while I love the little elf, there's no contest in my mind. Currently, they are sitting at Snape: 68%, Dobby: 32%. Snape stands to run against Harry if Harry beats out Neville (this might be a close one), and I'd love to see that match-up! It's a lot of fun, so go vote!!
